Canadian Study Affirms Asian Carp Risk to Great Lakes

The Department of Fisheries and Oceans Canada today released a bi-national assessment of the risk of Asian carp establishing in the Great Lakes, finding the overall ecological risk of bighead carp to the Great Lakes is high.

Please bring work gloves and boots appropriate for working outdoors. Social distancing of at least 6 feet will be maintained but a face covering is required to have in case situations of closer than 6 feet occur.

Come out to Puckett’s Pond for a fun day of fishing with Conservation Warden Tony Young and the Grafton Youth Hunting Association! A great way to get involved with the great outdoors that Ozaukee County has to offer. Fun for all ages, especially the kids! Fishing equipment, lunch and giveaways will be provided! Meet at Pucketts Pond Picnic Area.
Park admission and fishing license are not required.
