Celebrating the Natural Gems of Ozaukee County


The Fish Passage Program makes connections across the Milwaukee River watershed.  This includes the physical and biological connections of reconnecting Ozaukee County’s Milwaukee River tributaries to Lake Michigan, the Milwaukee River harbor and estuary, and main stem of the Milwaukee River.  We are also creating new socio-economic connections across Ozaukee and Milwaukee counties.   The Program’s collaborative partnerships include:

  • Together, the County, municipalities, consultants, the Milwaukee Community Service Corps, non-profit organizations, and volunteers are working to remove fish passage barriers throughout 2010.
