Treasures of Oz is one fun-filled day that may change your life! Discover things that enrich your life, learn to reduce our stress in nature, find opportunities for recreation and meaningful volunteering, have a memorable adventure and connect with others who love the outdoors and natural places. This event is free and family-friendly.
Treasures of Oz is again celebrating the surprising treasure sites of Ozaukee County on June 16th. The day is focused on Ozaukee’s Other Coast, our great Milwaukee River that runs from the top to the bottom of the county. There are 7 sites this year. You may want to take them all in or just pick the ones that pique your interest. Download passport. Collect stamps and trading cards at each site. Passport stamps can be exchanged at Forest Beach Migratory Preserve for free raffle tickets.

5th Annual Treasures of Oz Event
On Saturday, June 14th, Treasures of Oz invites visitors to explore 7 natural areas and hidden environmental treasures. Each site is hosted by top scientists, environmental stewards and experts in natural fields. Visitors can explore the site, learn about the area's significance, and converse with the docent and site team.
We're off to see the river and wonderful wetlands of Oz on June 16th as Treasures of Oz opens 8 sites along the Milwaukee River and selected inland bogs and marshes for its 2012 event.

Treasures of Oz turns the spotlight on Ozaukee’s outstanding coastline June 18th, for its 2011 event to uncover the natural gems of Ozaukee County.
Discover and explore Ozaukee County's natural treasures on July 24th ending at Forest Beach Migratory Preserve for a free, family-friendly celebration.
Treasures will provide great opportunities for photos, birding, biking and geocaching as well as hiking, taking in the fresh air and getting a little smarter. The adventure ends for the day with food, music, a silent auction and a chance to win prizes.
