Bordering the Milwaukee River have seemingly endless well maintained trails for hiking year round and cross-country skiing in winter. The trails move through different habitats including wooded areas and grasslands. President of the board, Annamarie Dittmar, even said there have been otters sighted on the river.

The sanctuary is also part of an animal rehab program. Wild animals are rescued and afterward released onto the property.

Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world.
